Account Authentication & Profile Data: When you sign up or log in using Google Authentication (via Better Auth), we receive basic authentication tokens, your verified email address, name, and profile picture avatar. We do not store or process passwords.

Watchlist & Price-Drop Tracking Criteria: The specific product identifiers, target price thresholds, and selected retailers (Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital) added to your authenticated watchlist are stored in our secure database to manage notification triggers.

Mobile Device Push Notification Tokens: When you use our Expo-powered mobile application and grant push permissions, we collect your unique device push token (e.g., Expo push token) solely to deliver automated price-drop alerts directly to your device. We do not access contacts, location hardware, photos, media, or on-device storage.

Aggregated Site Telemetry: Non-identifiable metrics regarding searched models, category filters, and viewed hardware specifications are processed to optimize platform responsiveness and prioritize product indexing.

Network Security & Edge Logs: Transient server logs record IP addresses and request metadata strictly for DDoS mitigation, bot defense, rate limiting, and API security. These logs are isolated from personal accounts and automatically cycled out.

Our Core Privacy Commitments

We do not sell, barter, or monetize personal records with external data aggregators, data brokers, or advertising networks.

We do not share your profile information, watchlist items, or browsing activity with third-party retailers, brands, or marketing agencies.

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or third-party email advertisements. All price-drop updates are delivered exclusively via direct on-device push notifications to your installed mobile app.

We do not construct behavioral ad profiles or monitor your activities across external web properties.

Merchant Referral Links & Multi-Store Attribution

When you click outbound store buttons to purchase or view products across our tracked merchant network—including Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Amazon India—our platform generates standard affiliate referral URLs via the Amazon Associates Programme and the Cuelinks affiliate network.

No Personal Data Transfer: Outbound affiliate redirects transmit only standard campaign tracking tags. PricePe transmits zero personal records, user identifiers, email addresses, or account credentials to any retailer.

Independent Merchant Policies: You pay the exact same retail price as a direct visitor. Once you redirect to an external merchant domain or launch an installed retailer application via mobile app intents, their distinct terms of service, cookies, payment systems, and privacy policies govern your session.

Exclusion of Amazon Price-Drop Alerts: In strict accordance with Section 4 of the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement, PricePe does not track historical pricing, generate price history charts, or send automated price-drop push notifications for Amazon India listings. All tracking alerts and price history charts apply exclusively to Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital.

Data Infrastructure & Client Storage

Cloud Infrastructure: Watchlist configurations, device push tokens, and account profile records are housed in secured, encrypted database clusters in the Asia-Pacific region, protected by least-privilege network access controls and TLS encryption in transit.

Alert Delivery Infrastructure: Mobile push alerts are routed securely through the official Expo Push Notification gateway (https://exp.host/--/api/v2/push/send). We do not maintain or operate external email dispatch servers for price notifications.

Client-Side Storage: Browser preferences (such as light/dark mode and interface state) and mobile authentication tokens are managed locally on your device via client-side localStorage or encrypted device keychains, ensuring device settings remain private to you.

Platform Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics services (including Google Analytics) to monitor aggregate traffic patterns, page load latency, and platform stability.

This telemetry is strictly anonymized and aggregates non-identifying technical variables such as device screen resolution, browser user-agent, operating system, and general geographic region.

Advertising personalization, audience profiling, and remarketing features are disabled.

You may block analytics using browser extensions, ad blockers, or private browsing modes without restricting access to price comparison, AI scoring, or watchlist features.

Your Statutory Rights Under India’s DPDPA 2023

In full compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023), you hold complete sovereignty over your personal data:

Instant Watchlist & Notification Control: You can remove tracked items directly from your dashboard or revoke push notification permissions within your device's operating system settings at any time to halt notifications immediately.

Permanent Account & Data Erasure: You may request complete erasure of your account, authentication tokens, push notification keys, and watchlist records directly from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Your data will be permanently purged from active databases within 7 business days.

Data Access & Portability: You may request an exported copy of all active push notification tokens, watchlist items, and profile metadata associated with your account at any time.
