Voluntary Alert Contacts: If you choose to track price reductions, we collect your email address solely to dispatch transactional notifications when the target price is met. Your address is never rented, brokered, or shared with third parties.

Tracking Criteria: The product identifiers, alert thresholds, and target store choices submitted when creating an alert are saved in our database to manage notification triggers.

Aggregated Site Telemetry: Non-identifiable metrics regarding searched models and viewed categories are gathered to help prioritize which electronics our AI engine scores next.

Network Security Records: Transient server logs record IP addresses purely for DDoS mitigation, bot scraping defense, and rate-limiting enforcement. These logs are isolated from user identities and automatically cycled out.

Our core privacy commitments

We do not sell, barter, or monetize personal details with external data aggregators or ad networks.

We do not distribute user contact information to retailers, brands, or marketing agencies.

We do not send promotional newsletters or third-party marketing blasts — only the price alerts you deliberately subscribed to.

We do not construct advertising profiles or monitor your activities across other web properties.

Merchant referral links & affiliate attribution

When you click outbound store buttons (such as "Buy on Amazon" or "Buy on Flipkart"), our system applies standard referral attribution parameters via Amazon Associates and Cuelinks. This allows retail merchants to credit PricePe for originating customer visits without PricePe transmitting any user personal data.

You pay the exact same retail price as a direct visitor. PricePe transmits no personal records or contact information to merchants. Once you navigate to a retailer’s domain, their distinct terms of service, cookies, and privacy documentation apply.

Data infrastructure & client storage

Price drop preferences and alert email records are housed in secured, encrypted database clusters in Asia-Pacific regions, protected by robust access controls.

Alert delivery is executed through specialized transactional email delivery providers. Your personal web browser manages offline interface preferences (such as light or dark theme) exclusively through client-side localStorage, ensuring this data never leaves your device.

Platform analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to monitor aggregated visitor trends, platform responsiveness, and feature engagement. This telemetry is anonymous, collecting non-identifying metrics such as pages viewed, browser types, and coarse geographic regions — never your personal identity, contact details, or financial information.

Advertising personalization and remarketing signals are disabled. You are entirely welcome to block Google Analytics using privacy-focused browser extensions, content blockers, or incognito browsing without impacting any site feature.
