Buyers who expect long hours of bright light will regret this, because the strong light mode runs out in just 2.5 hours before needing a full recharge.

Buy it if

If you live in an area with frequent power outages and need a reliable backup light, this ₹1,799 lantern works well. The 7200 mAh battery gives you up to 10 hours on weak light, which is great for overnight use. Just keep in mind that using the strong light setting drains the battery completely in only 2.5 hours. If you want an emergency device that can double up as a basic power bank to save your phone during blackouts, this gets the job done. At ₹1,799, the inbuilt mobile charging point adds useful utility. However, do not expect fast smartphone charging from a lantern battery backup port.

Skip it if

If you are looking for a primary room light or a heavy-duty camping light that runs for many hours on high brightness, skip this. The strong light mode only lasts 2.5 hours on a 7200 mAh battery, which is too short for intense work. Look for rechargeable tubelights or emergency bulbs with higher capacity instead. If you are on a tight budget and want maximum value, ₹1,799 is a bit steep for a plastic LED lantern. You can find basic emergency lights at lower prices. Skip this model if you want a dedicated high-speed power bank, as lantern USB ports are only meant for basic emergency top-ups.
