Buyers expecting the exact same build quality, weight, and seamless voice pairing as their original Sony remote might feel let down by this third-party alternative.

Buy it if

If you are a budget-conscious homeowner needing a replacement remote for your Sony smart TV, at ₹759 this is much cheaper than official Sony parts. It gives you voice search and handy streaming shortcuts. However, you will have to compromise on build materials and button feedback, as it feels much lighter and less durable than the original factory remote. If you lost your old Sony remote and want quick access to Netflix and YouTube without spending a fortune, this third-party option gets the basic job done. At this price point, it is an easy fix, but keep in mind that voice pairing might take a few extra steps compared to the original accessory that came inside your TV box.

Skip it if

If you prefer genuine accessories with guaranteed seamless pairing and long-term durability, you should skip this third-party SKPM remote. While it costs only ₹759, third-party remotes often suffer from Bluetooth connectivity drops and wear out faster. Look for an authorized service center replacement instead for a hassle-free television experience. If your specific Sony TV model is older and does not fully support modern voice remote protocols like RMF-TX520U, you should skip this purchase. Buying this might leave you with a remote where the voice button fails to work properly. Save your money and check your exact TV compatibility manual before buying replacement controllers online.
