You might regret buying this if you realize Full HD is not sharp enough on a 50-inch screen, or if you miss having the flexibility of the Google TV app store.
Should you buy this?
- Buy it if
- You want an affordable 50-inch QLED display for basic television viewing, standard cable connections, and watching movies without spending a fortune on 4K models. It offers bright colors for casual daily content consumption. You primarily use external streaming devices like Fire TV Stick or Google Chromecast, meaning the limitations of the built-in VIDAA operating system and restricted app availability will not affect your daily usage.
- Skip it if
- You expect sharp, high-definition visuals from a 50-inch screen, as Full HD resolution at this size can appear pixelated when viewed from a close distance in the living room. You rely heavily on a wide variety of niche OTT apps and a smooth, feature-rich smart TV interface like Google TV, since 1 GB of RAM and the closed VIDAA system can feel restrictive and slow over time.

Primary advantages
(3)- QLED technology provides vibrant colors and wide color gamut at a budget price point.
- Equipped with REGZA Engine and basic gaming enhancements like ALLM and VRR support.
- Comprehensive connectivity with 3 HDMI ports and dual USB ports for external devices.
Primary weaknesses
(3)- Resolution is restricted to Full HD (1920x1080) on a large 50-inch panel, reducing sharpness.
- Runs on the VIDAA operating system which has a limited app ecosystem compared to Google TV or Android TV.
- Only 1 GB of RAM may cause sluggish performance and lag when navigating the user interface.

How this rating was made
The score comes from one evaluation of the Flipkart specification table against today's cash price, calibrated so most consumer electronics land between 65 and 88. Affiliate partnerships never change a score, and no brand pays for placement. Where the store withholds a specification, the model is told to treat it as unknown rather than assume a good value.
