Buyers looking for high-end gaming performance or powerful built-in sound might regret paying a brand premium for a basic 60Hz, 20W television.

Buy it if

If you are a movie lover upgrading from an older screen to a massive 65-inch display for ₹82,990, this Sony TV delivers great color accuracy and reliable upscaling via its X1 processor. You will love the clean Google TV interface for daily streaming, but remember that the 20W speakers are quite basic, so you will need to budget for an external soundbar later. If you have multiple devices like a set-top box, a PlayStation, and a streaming stick, you will appreciate the four HDMI ports on this TV at this ₹82,990 price tag. The setup makes connecting everything hassle-free without constantly swapping cables. However, the 60Hz refresh rate means you will not get advanced gaming features like 120Hz support, which might disappoint hardcore next-gen console players.

Skip it if

If you are a serious gamer looking to squeeze maximum performance out of a PS5 or Xbox Series X, you should skip this television. At ₹82,990, a 60Hz refresh rate panel with basic 20W audio limits your gaming experience. Look for alternative 65-inch models that offer 120Hz panels and HDMI 2.1 features for smoother, high-frame-rate gaming action instead. If you want the best possible hardware value for your money, you should pass on this Sony model. At ₹82,990, competing brands offer 65-inch 4K TVs with higher refresh rates, better local dimming, or punchier built-in sound outputs. This television relies heavily on brand legacy, so budget buyers can easily find more feature-packed panels elsewhere for less money.
