Buyers who expect rich, cinema-style surround sound or need HDMI connectivity to plug in multiple devices will likely regret purchasing this basic optical-only soundbar.

Buy it if

If you are a regular TV viewer with a budget of ₹8,990 looking to replace thin built-in television speakers, this soundbar gives you a much louder and clearer daily experience. The 150W output easily fills a medium sized room. However, you will have to compromise on advanced connectivity since it only offers optical in and Bluetooth without any HDMI ports. If you want a neat living room setup without a bulky separate subwoofer box taking up floor space, this model has a built-in woofer for extra bass punch. At ₹8,990, it is reasonably priced for a branded Samsung audio device. Just remember that the bass performance won't match a dedicated standalone subwoofer unit.

Skip it if

If you are a movie enthusiast or gamer who wants immersive surround sound formats like Dolby Atmos, you should skip this basic 2.1 channel soundbar. It only supports standard Dolby Digital and basic audio formats like AAC and MP3. Look for higher-end soundbars with dedicated up-firing drivers and HDMI eARC connectivity instead. If you plan to connect multiple external sources like a gaming console, set-top box, and streaming stick directly to your soundbar, skip this model. It only features one optical input and Bluetooth connectivity, meaning you cannot pass through multiple HDMI devices. Look for an alternative soundbar that includes multiple HDMI ports.
