Score breakdown

Value for Money: 75
Ease of Installation: 50
Range and Reliability: 65

Buyers who expect modern smart home app connectivity or easy plug-and-play installation will regret this, as it is a basic wired RF switch with no brand support.

Should you buy this?

Buy it if: If you are a DIY home tinkerer looking to add remote control to old lights without spending much, this ₹388 4-way switch works well. It handles up to four devices and gives decent indoor range. Just remember that installation requires working directly with 220V house wiring, so you must know basic electrical safety or hire a local electrician to set it up safely. If you are on a strict budget and want to upgrade a rental room or small shop with wireless light switches, this low-cost RF unit gets the job done. At this price, it is an easy experiment, but keep your expectations realistic regarding long-term durability and the lack of proper brand warranty or customer support if something fails inside the unit.
Skip it if: If you want modern smart home features like phone app control, voice commands with Alexa or Google Home, or automation routines, you should skip this simple RF switch. This model only works with its included physical handheld remote control and lacks Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. Look for smart relays or smart touch wall switches instead for connected features. If you are not comfortable handling electrical wiring or opening up your wall switchboard, skip this product. Connecting a 220V digital switch requires proper wiring knowledge to avoid shock hazards or short circuits. Since brand support is practically nonexistent, you are entirely on your own if you run into installation trouble or if the unit stops working.

How this rating was made

The score comes from one evaluation of the Amazon specification table against today's cash price, calibrated so most consumer electronics land between 65 and 88. Affiliate partnerships never change a score, and no brand pays for placement. Where the store withholds a specification, the model is told to treat it as unknown rather than assume a good value.
