Buyers who expect modern RO-level purification for hard water will regret paying ₹7,409 for a basic carbon gravity filter. It is only meant for clean municipal supply.

Buy it if

If you live alone or with a partner in a small apartment with decent municipal water and frequent power cuts, this ₹7,409 stainless steel gravity filter makes sense. You get a rust-proof body that needs zero electricity. However, you will have to compromise on advanced purification like RO, as this only uses basic carbon candles for filtration. If you want a plastic-free water storage option for your kitchen counter and prefer the durability of food-grade 304 stainless steel, paying ₹7,409 gives you a sturdy build with a stand and tap included. Just keep in mind that the 6-liter storage is quite small, so you will need to refill it frequently throughout the day.

Skip it if

If your home relies on hard borewell or high-TDS tanker water, you should skip this ₹7,409 gravity filter completely. Carbon candles cannot remove dissolved salts or heavy metals. Look for a proper RO or RO+UV purifier instead to keep your drinking water safe from chemical impurities. If you have a family of three or more people, skip this 12-liter total capacity unit because it only provides 6 liters of stored drinking water at a time. A 6-liter storage tank will run out very quickly for a medium-to-large household, forcing you to constantly wait for the slow 4 liters per hour gravity filtration.
