Buyers who use their AC for 8 to 10 hours daily might regret choosing a 3-star model when they see their electricity bills. A 5-star model would have been a safer bet for heavy usage.

Buy it if

If you are looking for a reliable smart air conditioner for a medium-sized bedroom under 170 sq ft, this ₹37,990 model makes sense. You get useful Wi-Fi controls and clean air filters. However, you must compromise on electricity savings since it is only a 3-star energy-rated appliance that will consume more power annually compared to pricier 5-star models. If you want modern smart home integration like Matter support to control your AC via phone or voice assistant without hassle, this unit fits well at this cash price. It handles ambient temperatures up to 55°C easily. Just keep in mind that the airflow relies on a basic 2-way swing, so manual vane adjustment might be needed for wide rooms.

Skip it if

If you run your air conditioner for long hours every single day, you should skip this 3-star model because the 877.74 kWh yearly power consumption will inflate your monthly electricity bills. You are much better off spending a bit more upfront on a 5-star energy-efficient inverter AC to save money on long-term running costs instead. If your living room has an open layout or requires wide-angle air distribution, skip this unit. It only features a 2-way swing, which might leave corners of large or irregularly shaped spaces inadequately cooled. Look for an air conditioner with a 4-way swing mechanism to ensure uniform cooling across the entire room.
