Score breakdown

Buyers might regret this purchase if local 2G towers are shut down by telecom operators, leaving the phone without any network connectivity despite its strong antenna and large battery.

Should you buy this?

Buy it if: If you are looking for a reliable secondary calling device at ₹1,999 with a strong torch and great battery life, this works well. You get modern Type-C charging and simple UPI payments. However, you must compromise on high-speed internet since this is strictly a 2G keypad phone that cannot run modern smartphone apps or browse heavy websites. If you need an affordable phone for elderly family members who only want voice calling and simple UPI payments via PhonePe, this fits your budget at ₹1,999. The large battery and strong signal antenna are very helpful. Just remember that the display and features are basic, and 2G network shutdown in the future will eventually render the cellular connectivity useless.
Skip it if: If you live in an area where telecom operators have already started shutting down 2G networks, you should skip this phone immediately because it lacks 4G VoLTE support. Buying a 2G-only device means you might lose network coverage soon. Look for a budget 4G feature phone instead that can handle calls reliably for years to come. If you want a primary device for browsing social media, watching videos, or using modern smartphone applications smoothly, you must skip this keypad phone. Even though it has PhonePe, it is a very basic feature phone. Invest your ₹1,999 budget into an entry-level 4G smartphone for a much better everyday digital experience.

How this rating was made

The score comes from one evaluation of the Amazon specification table against today's cash price, calibrated so most consumer electronics land between 65 and 88. Affiliate partnerships never change a score, and no brand pays for placement. Where the store withholds a specification, the model is told to treat it as unknown rather than assume a good value.
