Buyers who place this television in a brightly lit room will likely regret the purchase because the 400 nits brightness cannot handle heavy ambient light. Additionally, relying on a relatively new brand name for long-term service support carries some uncertainty.

Buy it if

If you want a large 55-inch QLED TV with massive app storage for a controlled lighting room, paying ₹38,999 makes sense. You get Dolby Vision and ample space for heavy apps. However, you will have to compromise on peak HDR brightness, as 400 nits struggles against strong daylight or direct sunlight in open living spaces. If you need lots of physical ports like HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0, and a satellite port for DD-Free Dish without breaking the bank, this ₹38,999 Google TV covers all your external device needs. Keep in mind that the audio output is capped at 30 Watts, so you might eventually want a separate soundbar for a true cinematic audio experience.

Skip it if

If you are a serious gamer who owns a PS5 or Xbox Series X, skip this TV. The 60 Hertz refresh rate panel will not let you take advantage of high frame rate gaming, even with HDMI 2.1 ports. Look for a dedicated 120Hz gaming television from established brands instead to match your high-end gaming console performance properly. If you watch movies in a brightly lit room with large windows, skip this 400 nits QLED TV. At this price point, 400 nits of typical brightness is too dim to combat strong ambient daylight, leading to washed-out dark scenes. Look for a television with higher peak brightness and local dimming zones for daytime viewing.
