Buyers might regret the higher electricity bills caused by the 2-star energy rating if the AC is used for long hours daily.

Buy it if

If you are a single person living in a tiny bedroom or office under 110 square feet, this ₹24,990 air conditioner gets the job done. It cools fast and fits tight spaces well. However, you must compromise on electricity savings because the 2-star rating will lead to noticeably higher monthly power bills compared to higher-rated models. If you want a reliable brand name with good warranty coverage like 10 years on the compressor for under 25k, this LG unit fits your tight budget. It handles hot summers well. Just remember that the 2-way swing requires you to sit directly in the airflow path for maximum cooling comfort.

Skip it if

If you plan to run your air conditioner for long hours every day, skip this 2-star model because the electricity bills will add up quickly. At ₹24,990, you are better off stretching your budget slightly to buy a 3-star or 5-star inverter AC that consumes far fewer units annually and saves money long term. If you need an air conditioner for a medium-sized bedroom over 110 square feet, skip this 0.8 ton capacity unit as it will struggle to cool the space efficiently during peak summer afternoons. Look for a standard 1.0 or 1.5 ton model instead to get proper comfort without overworking the compressor.
