Buyers trying to save money upfront might regret the higher monthly electricity bills caused by the poor 1-star energy rating. People who pile heavy utensils on the shelves may also face durability issues.

Buy it if

If you are a student or live alone in a rented room, this ₹10,990 fridge is an affordable choice for basic storage. It includes a base stand and built-in stabilizer, saving extra setup costs. However, you must be ready for manual defrosting sessions and higher electricity bills because of the 1-star rating, plus you will need to handle glass shelves carefully since toughened glass is missing. If you are on a strict budget and need a dependable cooling appliance for daily essentials, this 180-litre model fits small spaces well. At this price point, the five-year comprehensive warranty provides good peace of mind. Just keep in mind that the low energy efficiency means it will cost more to run over time compared to higher-rated alternatives on the market.

Skip it if

If you want to keep your long-term electricity bills as low as possible, skip this 1-star model. The heavy power consumption of 185 kWh means you will pay more in utility bills over time. Look for a 3-star or higher direct cool refrigerator instead, which will save you money on monthly power bills despite a slightly higher initial purchase price. If you have a large family or store heavy pots and pans inside your fridge, avoid this single door model. The basic 180-litre capacity fills up fast, and the lack of toughened glass shelves means you cannot place very heavy vessels on them without worry. Look for a larger capacity refrigerator with sturdy glass shelves instead.
