Buyers wanting to learn serious piano technique will regret the lack of touch-sensitive keys once they progress beyond basic nursery rhymes.

Buy it if

If you are a parent looking for a simple instrument to introduce your young child to music, this keyboard at ₹9,215 offers a clear LCD and basic song banks to keep them engaged. It gives them 61 keys to learn the absolute basics, though you must compromise on touch-sensitive keys since these are flat piano-style keys. If you are an absolute beginner wanting an entry-level practice tool with built-in Indian tones and rhythms, this Casio model provides 13 authentic Indian tones and 12 rhythms at ₹9,215. It works fine for basic melody practice, but keep in mind that serious learners will outgrow these unweighted keys very quickly.

Skip it if

If you are an adult learner or aspiring pianist who wants to learn proper dynamics and expression, skip this keyboard because the keys are unweighted and lack touch sensitivity. At ₹9,215, you should look for entry-level keyboards with touch-responsive keys that better simulate an acoustic piano feel. If you are looking for advanced features, modern connectivity, or professional sound production tools, you should skip this aging model. The 400 tones and basic MIDI app support via Chordana Play are quite limited, so look for newer keyboards with USB audio interfaces and better onboard speakers instead.
