Score breakdown

Running Cost: 90
Value for Money: 85
Print Quality & Speed: 75
Features & Connectivity: 70

Buyers who assume all modern printers can scan documents will regret this purchase because it is strictly a print-only monochrome machine.

Should you buy this?

Buy it if: If you are a home office user who prints heavy text documents, this ₹4,171 ink tank printer is a solid choice. You get exceptionally low running costs at 12 paisa per page and wireless convenience. However, you will have to compromise on scanning capabilities since this is a print-only machine without any built-in scanner. If you are a student needing a reliable daily driver for assignments and text notes, this machine saves a lot of money in the long run. At ₹4,171, the initial investment plus cheap refills make financial sense. Just keep in mind that it only handles black and white documents and lacks color printing out of the box.
Skip it if: If you are a student or professional who frequently needs to scan documents, make photocopies, or print color graphics, you should skip this printer. It is strictly a single-function monochrome device. Look for a proper all-in-one color ink tank printer instead to handle your everyday scanning needs without extra hassle. If you primarily use macOS or newer operating systems not explicitly listed like modern Windows versions, you might face driver setup issues since operation is only guaranteed on pre-installed Windows 7 or later. Check for comprehensive cross-platform driver support before buying a printer for non-Windows home setups.

How this rating was made

The score comes from one evaluation of the Flipkart specification table against today's cash price, calibrated so most consumer electronics land between 65 and 88. Affiliate partnerships never change a score, and no brand pays for placement. Where the store withholds a specification, the model is told to treat it as unknown rather than assume a good value.
