Buyers who forget that this lacks automatic duplex printing might regret having to manually flip pages for double-sided documents. Occasional users who leave the printer idle for months may also regret clogged print heads.

Should you buy this?

Buy it if: If you are a student or work from home, this ₹14,499 printer makes complete sense for daily documents. The refillable ink tank keeps printing costs down to just paisas per page. You get easy WiFi connectivity for phone prints and handy borderless photo printing. The main compromise is the lack of automatic two-sided printing, meaning you will manually flip pages for double-sided documents. If you run a small home office with moderate printing needs, this Canon ink tank setup is a solid investment at ₹14,499. Ink bottles come in the box, giving you thousands of pages right away without immediate refill costs. Wireless support lets multiple people share the machine. Just keep in mind the slower print speeds of 11 ipm mono and 6 ipm color if you rush big files.
Skip it if: If you manage a busy office that prints hundreds of pages daily, skip this model. The speeds of 11 ipm mono and 6 ipm color are too slow for heavy workloads, and lacking automatic duplex printing will slow you down further. Look at heavy-duty laser printers or high-end office inkjets designed for rapid multi-user volume instead. If you only print a few pages every few months, skip this ink tank printer. Ink tank nozzles can dry up and clog if left sitting unused for long periods, requiring cleaning cycles that waste ink. A traditional cartridge-based printer or visiting a local print shop might suit occasional users much better without maintenance worries.

How this rating was made

The score comes from one evaluation of the Flipkart specification table against today's cash price, calibrated so most consumer electronics land between 65 and 88. Affiliate partnerships never change a score, and no brand pays for placement. Where the store withholds a specification, the model is told to treat it as unknown rather than assume a good value.
