Buyers might regret this purchase if they fail to check their water source TDS beforehand, as this unit strictly requires a TDS reading above 200 ppm to function properly.

Buy it if

If you are a budget-conscious homeowner living in an area with hard borewell or tanker water, this ₹6,549 purifier makes sense. You get essential RO purification and mineral charging from a reliable brand like Aquaguard. The compromise is that it strictly requires source water with a TDS above 200 ppm, meaning it won't work if your municipal water supply is soft. If you want peace of mind with after-sales service without spending a fortune, this model is a decent pick. At ₹6,549, it bundles a free service plan, installation, and an active copper cartridge worth ₹1,199. Keep in mind that you will need to pay for filter replacements after the first year since cartridges have a limited 6,000-litre life span under standard test conditions.

Skip it if

If you rely on municipal corporation water supply with a low TDS level below 200 ppm, you must skip this purifier. The listing explicitly states it works only with TDS greater than 200 ppm, so using it on low TDS water can cause issues. Look for a standard UV or gravity-based purifier instead of an RO unit. If you are looking for advanced multi-stage purification with detailed indicators for filter life and tank fullness, look elsewhere. This is a bare-bones budget entry from Aquaguard meant strictly for hard water sources, and it lacks extra filtration layers like UF or detailed digital display panels found on pricier models.
