Buyers who mistakenly use this on a 4K TV or expect high-end console gaming performance might feel let down by the HD limitation.

Buy it if

If you are a student or budget user wanting to smarten up an older secondary HD television for ₹2,999, this stick is a solid pick. You get access to Netflix, Prime Video, and JioHotstar in one place. However, you will have to compromise on resolution since it only supports HD and not crisp 4K content. If you want basic cloud gaming without buying a bulky console, paying ₹2,999 for this stick works well for casual play like Forza Horizon 5. You get a portable streaming device with an Alexa remote. The trade-off is that you might experience latency depending on your internet connection and lack a true gaming console hardware setup.

Skip it if

If you own a modern 4K Ultra HD television, you should skip this HD model because it will not take advantage of your panel's high resolution. Instead, look for a dedicated 4K streaming stick that matches your display capabilities so you do not waste money on a lower resolution device. If you prefer a completely clean streaming interface without heavy promotional content and app recommendations, skip this Fire TV stick. Amazon's interface pushes its own ecosystem heavily. You might want to look for a cleaner alternative like a Google TV or Android TV streaming box instead.
